Artistic approach

Creative painter, my personality is expressed in the realization of my paintings. Creativity is very present in my work. My paintings are creative, colorful, contrasting. This creative work involves a certain know-how. I have developed a number of “cooking recipes”. The need to create is often manifested by a physical need a physiological need. My sources of inspiration are multiple.

Color is second nature, I love working color fresh and in contact with the material. I impose almost no constraints on myself when I work with colour. I make classic color mixes but also creative mixes.

My eye is naturally contrasted, I appreciate painters who work with strong contrasts. My painting is therefore contrasted, but sometimes I work on aspects other than contrast, that is to say working well with glazes, and other things… pictorial research is an important part of my work.

I have set up two main lines of work:

1/ Pure abstraction with the series of Paradigm canvases where I organize the color zones with a lot of gestures, energy, letting go, leaving creativity to the fore.

2/ figurative abstraction with the series of Evanescence canvases where I start with a figurative subject of my choice that I deconstruct to go to abstraction but suggesting line shapes. In fact, in the end, the rendering will be exactly halfway between the figurative and the abstract. Getting out of reality to go to abstraction is my hobby!
